1929-1932: Surface exploration by F.M. Connell and Associates for Albany River Mines. 1933-1935: Diamond drilling by Albany River Mines. 1936-1938: Sinking of exploration shaft and underground exploration by Albany River Gold Mines. 1938: Pickle Crow Gold Mines acquires control of Albany River Gold Mines. 1938-1966: sporadic exploration of area by Albany River Gold Mines and Pickle Crow Gold Mines. In the last years of the mine, the Albany workings were connected to the rest of the mine via a raise from the 750 level. 1981-1984: Surface exploration and diamond drilling by Golden Shadow Resources and Gallant Gold Mines. 1985-1988: Diamond drilling, geophysics, outcrop stripping and geological mapping by Noramco Mining Corporation. 1988-1990: Partial feasibility study for underground mining by Noramco and Brampton Mining Services. 1999: property acquired by Wolfden Resources. 1999-2000: bulk sampling by Cantera Mines. 2006: Wolfden Resources has completed a 225 ton per day mill on the Pickle Crow property to process 343,616 tonnes of ore that were outlined in crown pillar areas by Canterra. 2008: PC Gold Inc. purchased the property from Premier and conducted an exploration program including locating historical drill collars, surveying historical shafts, geological mapping, sampling, and a LiDAR survey. 2015: First Mining Investments purchased the property. 2016: First Mining drilled 9 DDH totalling 1318.2 m. 2020: Auteco Minerals optioned the property from First Mining.
