In order to improve the success rate when downloading large data sets, they have been split into multiple files. Download the main ZIP file and the parts (e.g. .z01, z02, etc.) After downloading, the files should be named filename.zip, filename.z01, filename.z02 etc. All files must be downloaded to properly extract the complete data set. If filename.z01 and filename.z02 have been renamed filename.z01.zip and filename.z02.zip, they must be renamed so that the .zip extension is removed. When all files have been downloaded and they have the proper name, open the file which has the '.ZIP' extension using compression software. (e.g. WinZip, 7-Zip etc). Once extracted you will have the complete filename in one uncompressed folder. Note that some older versions of compression software may not support multiple volumes or large ZIP file sizes. Try to use the most current version of compression software that is available to you. For assistance please contact the webmaster by email at webmaster@ontario.ca
