Mineralization Comments

12/21/2017 (M A Puumala) - The Phantom occurrence is hosted by altered websterite. Mineralization consists of less than 1% finely disseminated chalcopyrite + pyrrhotite. Grab sample assays returned values of up to 460 ppb Pt, 550 ppb Pd, and 175 ppb Au (Mineral Deposit Files, Thunder Bay South District). International Platinum Corporation completed two diamond drill holes (LDI-88-03 and 04) in the vicinity of this occurrence in 1988 (AFRI 52H04NE0007). Although some anomalous PGE assays were returned from both holes, no occurrence-grade (i.e., greater than 0.7 g/t combined PGEs) assay values were reported.
