Mar 31, 2021 (Therese Pettigrew) - Sample 14BA403B returned 22.25 wt% Fe from a silicate iron formation: Garnetiferous amphibolite with varied magnetism (weak to strong). Medium- to coarse-grained with 25-85% poikiloblastic flattened anhedral garnets, pink, 1-2 cm, no pyrrhotite or magnetite seen, but likely present in trace quantities. Small felsic lenses (MRD334).
