Point Location Description: General, point 0.5 km W of Banker Lake.

Access Description: The quarry is located approximately 5 km west of Madoc and 600 m south of Highway 7.
1991: I.K.O. Industries Ltd. opened a new quarry for the production of roofing granules from metavolcanic rock. An on-site mill and colouring plant produce roofing granules that are trucked to the company's asphalt shingle manufacturing plant in Brampton. As well, stone is crushed for use as HL-1 aggregate (asphalt road surfacing mix). (OFR 6084, p2). As of August 2024, Iko Industries operates the quarry under licence #4324.
