Access Description: On N side of Hwy 43, immediately S of the CNR.
Pre-1938 : inactive quarry. Sample # 213 (1938). Probably supplied road metal for the municipality c1922.
Province: Paleozoic and Mesozoic Basins
Dec 07, 2005 (C Papertzian) - Fossiliferous, medium-grained, dark brown-grey Verulam Formation exposed to a depth of 9 ft and opened on a low ridge. Thin-bedded (< 6 in) with partings of black calcareous shale. Overburden about 1 ft. See OGS 1982 for a measured section.
