Access Description: The quarry is located 150 m east of Lake Erie shore line on the northern tip of the island.
The quarry, opened in 1986, is operated by Erie Sand and Gravel for local consumption in the island. The principal product is armour stone and the license area is 10 Ha.

Dec 07, 2005 (M Barua) - The quarry exposes 6 m of limestone from the Dundee Formation, 5 m of which are medium crystalline, massive, very fossiliferous with oil seeps. The upper 1 m of the unit is fine to medium crystalline, thin bedded and fossiliferous.
