Oct 11, 2022 (Sheree Hinz) - Quartzites belonging to the Serpent and Gowganda Formations of the Huronian Supergroup trend easterly through the area. Structurally, the property is located on the south limb of the Fox Lake Anticline. The northeast-trending Fox Lake Fault brings sheared and brecciated quartzites of the Serpent and Gowganda Formations into juxta position. These rocks adjacent to the fault are silicified, carbonatized, and veined with quartz.
