Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The gold veins are hosted by the Jubilee tuffs. The tuffs are a locally important unit of andesitic to dacitic tuffs associated with the Jubilee Lake Stock. They occur between the felsic to intermediate and intermediate to mafic metavolcanic rocks of the second volcanic cycle.

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - Gold mineralization is hosted within a series of at least three parallel quartz veins, the Compressor Vein, the Smith Vein and the Mickelson Vein. These veins are hosted by tuffs and breccias of the Jubilee tuff series. Earlier workers have mapped the rocks are arenaceous conglomerates and greywackes. The rocks have been locally sheared in the vicinity of the Smith Vein.
