1908 - 1914: W. Biederman - A large quartz vein was discovered ; 20 ft. deep pit sunk on vein; DD-4-1014 ft.; assays from the vein returned values between 0.04 and 0.68 oz/t Au. 1982 - Terry Gold Explorations Inc. : completed geological, magnetic, electromagnetic and radiometric surveys over the property; DD-2-560 ft.. Two diamond drill holes totalling 560 feet were cored. The best assays was 0.018 ounce Au per ton over 10 feet. 1986: H. Ferdeber Geophysics - airborne geophysics. 1987-1988 - D. Hurd completed 10 backhoe trenches on the property; The vein was bulk sampled by Kafka Granite and Decor as a source of opaque white quartz for decorative stone. A 900-ton bulk sample was collected and sent to Wisconsin for processing and testing. Product was tested for decorative crushed aggregate. 1995: J. Forbes and Y. Gagne staked the property and a portion of Dunmore Township.

Jan 25, 2016 (D Guidon) - The vein is located within pink hornblende-biotite granite of the Watabeag Batholith. The vein strikes about 125 º and dips about 65 º to the west.

Jan 25, 2016 (D Guidon) - The quartz vein is approximately 10 m wide, ranging between 5 and 15 m. It is exposed over a length of about 150 m, as 2 outcrops, separated by an overburden covered area. It appears that there is a small offset of the vein between the 2 stripped areas. The pit is at the northern end of the outcrop and is developed on a narrow stained area in the quartz. The quartz contains pyrite and minor molybdenite. The quartz is bright white and opaque. Minor amounts of pale pink feldspar inclusions are found within the quartz, as well as, oxidized sulphide inclusions and mafic xenoliths. At the north end of the outcrop, a metre wide lamprophyre dike is injected at the contact of the granite and quartz vein, over a 10 m length.

Dec 07, 2005 (D Guidon) - Narrow zone in the quartz vein contains minor pyrite, hematite and molybdenite. During the collection of the bulk sample for silica testing, a 1.5 m wide zone was discovered that assayed 2-3% Mo.
Jan 25, 2016 (A Wilson) - A picked sample yielded $0.90 to $14.00 Au with 2-3 oz/t Ag. Assays of diamond drill core samples ranged from 0.04 to 0.68 oz./t Au and from 2-3 oz./t Ag

Notes: Property visited on July 29, 1997. I accompanied Glenn Kafka, Terry Boerboom and Mark Jirsa. The two latter were consulting geologists for Glenn Kafka. The purpose of the trip was to collect a few hundred pounds of quartz for test crushing for use a decorative stone. Fresh quartz was blasted for sampling.
