Dec 15, 2014 (A Wilson) - Grab samples collected from the property in 1922 reportedly returned 0.61 oz/t gold, 0.28 oz/t gold and 0.95 oz/t gold. A grab sample collected from a muck pile in 1938 by Hollinger Gold Mines Ltd. returned 0.12 oz/t gold. Assays from drill holes completed by Cominco in 1977 returned the following assays: 0.03%Cu, 1.77% Zn, 0.14 oz/t Ag and 0.0075oz/t Au over 5.89m in WW-77-1; 0.01% Cu, 1.90% Zn, 0.11 oz/t Ag and 0.003 oz/t Au over 0.67 m in WW-77-2; 1.72% Zn, tr Cu, 0.04 oz/t Ag and 0.001 oz/t Au over 0.3 m in WW-77-3; 0.02% Cu, 2.00% Zn, 0.13oz/t Ag and 0.04 oz/t Au over 2.16 m in WW-77-4 (one of three sulphide-rich zones intersected). Cordierite was observed in drill core recovered from the iron formation. Diamond drilling by Noranda in 1999 returned best intersection of 0.368% Ni over 3 m in DDH SD-99-01. A 1.1 m section of the drill hole between 482.5 and 483.6 m returned 0.13 g/t Au, 3.20 g/t Ag, 0.07% Cu and 0.21% Zn. DDH Sd-99-2 returned 0.28% Ni over 2 m between 205.5 and 207.5 m and zinc values up to 0.32% over 1 m.
