Operational Access Description: Cp: C31 Access; Highway #17 Is Taken To Highway #519 And Then To Dubreuilville For A Distance Of 30.4km. At Dubreuilville, The Goudreau Road Is Taken For 14.1km To The Magino Mine Road. This Road Is Followed East For 8.5km, And For Another 0.2km To Site Entrance. Background; From 1936-1942 Shaft #1 Was Sunk To Some 365 Meters In Depth. Seven Levels Were Put In With 3727 Meters Of Drifting And 1932 Meters Of Crosscutting. In 1965 And 1966 Shaft #3 Was Sunk To 35m Depth With 146m Of Drifting And 48m Of Crosscutting. A Total Of 331,842 Tons Of Ore Was Mined From This Site (1938-1948); All Of Which Came From Shaft #1. A 200 Ton A Day Mill Was Erected Some 40m East Of Shaft #1. The Year 1992 Survey Reports 5 Shafts, An Adit, Mill Tailings, Transformer, Mill Foundation/remnants, Rock Dumps And Open Cut.
