Operational Access Description: Access; North Off Hwy 121 In The Village Of Cardiff, Driving 3.5km To Kerr House On Left. The Mine Road Is Signed And Starts At A Rural Laneway On The South Side Of The House. Follow Signs On 4x4 Road To Site A Total Of 2.5km. Uranium & Mica Occurrence; In 1927 & Between 1946 And 1951 469 Tons Of Mica Shipped. 1953-55 A 135 M Of Adit, Crosscuts & Drifting Plus 28.6 M Raise In Betafite Deposit. Small Plan In Mdi File So1037. Pit 14x9x14 M Deep On Mica; Historical Records Cite "formerly A Mica Mine, This Deposit Was Later Worked For The Radioactive Mineral Betafite". There Is No Reference Made To Production. The Year 2000 Survey Reports No 5m High Faces Were Noted As Reported In Amis Records. There Are Several Small Pits. Some Stripped Rock And One Adit On The Property. The Site Is A Well Known Mineral Collecting Locality.
