Operational Access Description: Access: From Cobalt Take Hwy 11b South; Turn Southeast On Coleman Road; Continue 6.2kms; Turn South On Brady Lake Road For 500m, Turn Southwest Onto Ibsen's Pond Road For 75m To The Siver Mine Shaft S03. Production From 1910 To 1951: 55,485 Tons Of Ore Was Raised, Produced 190,641 Pounds Of Cobalt; 4,250,136 Ounces Of Silver; 11,320 Pounds Of Copper And 8,620 Pounds Of Nickel. Between 1952 And 1960 Brady Lake Produced 2,750,000 Ounces Of Silver. Brady Lake Mine Includes The Former Lumsden Mining Company Ltd. (1906), And Rochester Cobalt Mines Ltd. (1906). The Main Production Shaft Was Started In 1908 By Pan Silver Mining Company Ltd. But It Was Not Until 1947 That The Shaft Was Sunk From 200' To A 610' Level By Silver Miller Mine Ltd. A 50 Ton/day Mill Was Set Up In 1948. Production From 1947-1957 Amounted To About 7,380,000 Ounces. Past Producer With 4 Shafts And Mill Foundation.
