The Open Stope Is Behind A Restaurant. Moderate To Potentially Extreme Hazard Due To Proximity Of Population; Shaft, Open Stope, Trenches, Tailings, Raises; Open Stope Fenced; Raises & Shaft Capped; Tailings Overgrown; Fenced Area Being Used By Mto. The Year 1993 Survey Reports A Restaurant, Highway And Motel Have Been Constructed On Top Of The Crown Pillar. The Crown Pillar Thickness Is 5.5-6m. Ogs 2012 Red Lake Regional Resident Geologist Report States: Howey Mine Was In Production From 1930 To 1941 (1957 - Continuous Production From 1930-1941; Includes 268 Ounces Recovered From Clean Up In 1957. 4,630,779 Short Tons Of Ore Was Milled From This Site.
