Operational Access Description: Access; Atv Trail Which Meets Joyce Lake Road 300m North Of Narrow River Portage. South Bay Road Leads To Otter Road Which In Turn Leads To Joyce Lake Road. Bathurst Lake Mine Is 98km Ne Of Ear Falls Via Truck And Atv Road. The Site Is Also Accessible By Pace And Compass From The End Of Joyce Lake Road And Car Lake Is Float Plane Accessible. Shaft, Pits, Trenches, Machinery; Extreme Hazard Due To Shaft, Claim Krl4765, 4764, 4761, 4758, 42 Trenches Between 8-23 M Long; Shaft, W. Of Shore Lake.; Site Accessible By Atv Trail. The Year 1993 Survey Reports The Site Consists Of An Open Shaft Collared In Waste Rock With Caving Sides. A Few Deep Trenches. Old Collapsed Mine Buildings, Foundations And Some Equipment Remain. Pump Shack, Bunk House And Storage Sheds In Good Condition. Tailings Area Is Completely Overgrown. Waste Piles Have Steep Sides. Ogs 2012 Red Lake Regional Resident Geologist Report States: Bathurst Mine Was In Production From 1927-1937, Milling 562 Short Tons Of Ore.
