The Belmont Iron Mine Is Between The 4x4 Road. Continue An Additional 1km, Keeping To The Right Until Trail Becomes Too Narow For Truck. Walk An Additional 400m On The Fork To The Left. Open Cut And Shaft On The Hill To The Nw Of The Road. Small Logging Trail Leads To The Site. Past Producing Gold Mine 13oz Recovered; Access By Dirt Road Now Used As Skidoo Trail; Shaft Opening Not Tested For Soundness. Year 2000: Open Cut And Shaft Surrounded By Fallen Fence; Rock Piles.
