Operational Access Description: Access; From The Village Of Malone On Deloro Rd11, Travel East On Malone Quarry Road Which Crosses The Moira River To Gate. Walk Approx 100m East To A Series Of Long Trenches And Pits. Former Au Prod. Mine; 2 Shafts; #1 Inclined 27 M Deep; Ltd. Amount Of Drift. & Stoping Completed; #2 20 M Deep; At Least 19 Test Pits/trenches Excavated Depths Unknown 1340 Oz Au Reportedly Produced; Napanee Inspection Rated Site Status As Poor; The Year 1993 Survey Reports Four Shafts, An Adit, Two Open Cuts, A Rockpile And Nine Pits And Trenches. The Year 2000 Survey Reports The Field Visit Found That Mine Development And Exploration Features Overlap Because Of The Long History Of Development. They Did Note Of Many Pits In The Area Measuring 4m X 3m X 3m, 4m X 3m X 5m, 20m X 7m X 1m, 4m X 4m X 3m, 4m X 4m X 3m, 2m X 2m, And 5m X 2m X 1m. It Is Uncertain Which Measurements Are Associated With Wich Feature Number. 2007 Tailings Report; Does Provide Some Measurements And Utm Coordinates For 4 Shafts, An Adit, And An Open Cut.
