Operational Access Description: Access; South Shore Of Mud Bay, Part Of Nw Shore Of Bobs Lake, On Strike With Bedore Workings On A Peninsula To Ne. From Hwy 38, W Of Sharbot Lake, East 9km On Crow Lake Road And Right To Bobs Lake. South 800m Turning West On Rough Trail Just South Of Thistle Lane. This Road Leads Around West Side Of Mud Bay And Bobs Lake Mine Site Is Some 1.5km East Of This Road. Earliest Production Of Mica Was 1897; But Major Production Was From 1903-1925; Considerable Scrap Mica From Dumps Until 1942 Production; From Separate Open Pits Along Parallel Veins; About 2,000 Tons Total Production. The Amis Report Lists Two Trenches/pits/stopes With Depths As Much As 38m. Year 2000: Site Not Inspected, Unable To Access Site.
