Operational Access Description: Access: Hwy 69 N From Sudbury To Val Caron. Turn E On Main St And Drive 2.4km To Sandy Beach Rd. Take Sandy Beach Rd S 0.7km To Whitson Estates Development Rd. Turn Left And Drive 0.5km To Cleared Area On Whitson Lake. Pre-1928: A 12m Shaft Was Sunk On A Quartz Vein By Papineau(?). Some Trenching Was Also Conducted On A Number Of Other Veins In The Vicinity. Inco Ltd. Acquires The Property In 1928 And Is The Present Owner Of The Property. No Production From This Deposit; Lot 3s1/2 Conc 5 Commodity: Gold. 2001 Survey Reports That The Site Had Been Completely Reclamated By Inco.
