Proceed Northerly Onto Morgan Rd To Nickel Offset Rd. Follow Nickel Offset Rd Approx 8km Northerly. Follow Atv Trail Approx 5.5km Northerly. The Mine Produced Ore In 1943 And 1944 (10,311 Short Tons) Which It Sent To Inco And From 1953 To 1957 (215,672 Short Tons) Which It Sent To Falconbridge To Be Milled; Production Ceased In 1957; United Reef Petroleum Completed Mapping Of The Nickel Offset Mine And Area In 1987; Location Of The Various Surface Mine Features Refer To 3 Map Sheets In A Particular West And Central Sheets With Report United Reef Petroleum Limited; Lot 5-6 (n 1/2) Con 3; 2001 Survey Reports No Chain Link Fence Around Shafts; Dilapidated Fencing Around Pits/open Cuts, Contrary To Amis Summary. Amis Summary Reports Two Raises, One Located. However With Respect To Mine Plans, It Appears One Of The Raises Has Been Buried By Waste Pile.
