Operated From 1908-1924 (no Production In 1916) With 472,229 Tons Shipped - Production Was From A 3 Compartment Shaft And Open Pit (no.1 Developed To 1912 - Open Pitted Then 14 Shaft Sunk To 55m) Later (1917-1924) No.2 Deposit Mined From Underground (tunnel From Shaft) And Open Pit; Pelletized Ore Form 1963/64 To 1979-1959 To 1972 19,982,248 Long Tons Mined; 1973-1979 No Data; Year 2000 Survey Reports Pit Is Water Filled And Naturally Rehabilitated.
