Approx 1km Then N On Dirt Rd Just Past Small Gravel Pit. Drive To End Of Rd Approx 6.5km. Property Originally Owned By Niagara Garnet Company Which Acquired The Property In The 1920's And Shipped Some 800 Tons Of Ore During The Late 1940's. Quarry Taken Over By The Industrial Garnet Company In 1956. Three(3) Pits Have Been Opened Up On The Property; Geology Map Depicting Pit Boundaries Provided In Ofr 5329 (fig 9). (included In This Evaluation); Commodity: Garnet (as Abrasive); See Data Sheet For Further Information; Year 2000 Survey Reports 2 Quarries And 2 Pits Located.
