Operational Access Description: Access: From Hwy 69s Turn At Hwy 537 Wanup Rd And Proceed To Old Wanup Rd Approx 1.9km. Travel 0.6km To Roped Entrance On S Side Of Old Wanup Rd. Site Is Situated Approx 200m Down Gravel Rd Beyond Entrance. 1924: Deposit Worked Holditch, W.e.. Production Consisted Of 758 Tons Of Feldspar And 70 Tons Of Quartz. 1925-28: Deposit Worked By Wanup Feldspar Mines Until Flooding Of The Pit From An Adjacent Swamp Brought The Operation To A Halt (10,000 Tons Of Feldspar Produced). Some Test Pitting And Diamond Drilling Conducted On A Uranium Ply In 1952. (cubar Uranium Mines Limited). In 1981 The Quarry Was Being Used As A Reservoir By The Graf Family Who Own The Land. Year 2000 Survey Reports A Quarry With Waste Rock Piles.
