In 1985 Production Commenced From A Small Open Pit; Commodity: Nickel, Copper (principal); Garson Mine Is Located In Northeastern Ontario, Approximately 15km North East Of The City Of Sudbury. The Ore Is Shipped By Truck For Further Processing At Inco's Clarabelle Mill. Following Milling, The Nickel-copper Concentrate Is Sent For Further Processing At The Copper Cliff Smelter And Copper And Nickel Refineries. Garson Mine Is Under The Closure Plan I15.
