Operational Access Description: Access; From The Village Of Port Loring, Take Hwy 522 West For 2.5km. At The Four Corners Intersection Where The Hwy Turns 90 Degrees, Continue Northerly On The North Rd. Proceed North ~12km To The Mnr Public Boat Launch. Discovery In 1890's. Early Exploration Work Included An Open Cut 12.2x4.6x3m Deep With A 10m Deep Shaft Sunk On The Floor Of The Open Cut. Additional Test Pits Were Sunk With Maximum Depth Of 3m. Later Work Included Geophysical Surveys And At Least 10 Dri The Year 1993 Survey Reports 2 Pits And A Shaft, All Of Which Have Been Remediated.
