Historical Reference Indicates The Shaft Is Situated Somewhere On Lot 5 Con Iv, Not Lot 7 Con 4 Where The Utms And Mdi Place It. Access; From Hwy 511 With Tatlock Rd Jct, Proceed Ne 0.5 - 1.0kms Along Tatlock Road But Presence Of Security Fence Around Omya Quarry Prevents Access To Site Which Lies Beyond Quarry Site To Northwest. Past Producer; Dot Symbol 'fe 21(py)' Sw. Of Tatlock In Sw-part Of Township On Ogs 1979, P 2211 Pembroke-renfrew Area (base Metal +...; Commodity: S, Pyrite; The Year 2000 Survey Reports Site Could Not Be Accessed Due To Quarry Operations. Odm Annual Report Indicates That The Mine Had Been Worked 10 Years Prior For Pyrites. At The Time Of The Report, The Workings Had Caved In. No Further Evidence Available. Shaft Originally Sunk To 35 Feet, Later Deepened To 75 Feet With 150 Feet Of Drifting.
