Operational Access Description: Access; Take Hwy.561 North From Bruce Mines For Appr. 15 Km. To The Rock Lake Cottage Rd. And Proceed To Mill Bay. Park And Take An Atv Track Behind The First Cottage On The Right And Proceed For Approx. 1.2 Km. Observing Numerous Trenches And Pits Along The Base Of The Hill To The Right Of The Trail. The Shaft Is Located Approx. 150 M. West Of The Trail As It Proceeds North Of The Lake Along The Edge Of A Low Outcrop Ridge On The North End Of The Lake. No Evidence Of Work Other Than The Shaft Is Listed In The Government References Assessment Work.; Shaft Was Developed In 1902 By J.p. Mcnolty For A Syndicate Headed By W. Mcmillan, Of Duluth.; Commodity: Copper; Year 2000 Survey Reports Several Shallow Trenches An Exploration Shaft And A Building.
