Operational Access Description: Access; Hwy 556 Past Belleview, Take Hwy 532 (continues On At Approx 13km Past Bellevue) To Searchmont Then Turn Right After Crossing The Goulais River. Travel 21 Km To "t" Intersection, Turn Left, Travel 5km, Take Lefthand Track. Stripping Is Evident At This Intersection. Locations Of Two Large Trenches Are Shown On Geology Maps Supplied In Assessment File Gapp-0021. No Depth Given. Plans For All Noranda Trenches Are Given In The Assessment File.; Possible Trenching In The Late 1960's, Trenches Along Iron Formation. Trenches Shown On Noranda Trench Plan In Assessment File Ssmp Gapp-11.7 Of The 20 Trenches Were Excavated By Noranda , The Remaining 13 Were Older And Have No Dimensions Listed: Commodity Copper, Silver, Nickel And Lead. Year 2000 Survey Reports 4 Zones Of Stripping -one Extensive With Branches -some Deep Pits Within Stripped Zones.
