Operational Access Description: Access: Located At 10050 Highway 101 East, Approximately 23 Km From The Core Of The City Of Timmins. Access Is Via Hwy 101 East With The Site Being North Of The Highway. History: From 1965 - 1966 The Concentrator And Tailings Dykes Were Constructed. Zinc Plant Was Constructed In 1970-1972 And The Jarosite Pond Was Constructed In 1971. In 1976-1981, The Copper Smelter And Refinery Were Constructed. Mild Mill Was Constructed In 1991 And Milling Ceased In 1991. The Indium Plant Was Constructed In 1990-1991. In 2010, Operations At The Zinc Plant, Indium Plant, Copper Smelter And Refinery Ceased.
