Operational Access Description: Access: Adjacent To Hwy 101 In Schumacher. The Main Access Road Is North Onto Mcintyre Road. History: Little Pearl Was The Western Part Of Pearl Lake. In The Mid 1920's, Little Pearl Was Filled With Flotation Gold Tailings. From The Early 1960's To 1990's, Little Pearl Received Mine Water From The Hollinger Mine. Gold Was Reclaimed From The Tailings In 1989. In 2000, Kinross Began Pumping Mine Water From Mcintyre #11 Sahft. Closure Plan Id: S11-3
