Operational Access Description: Access: Located Within Timmins In Hoyle Township. The Only Access Road To The Mine Site Is On The North Side Of Bell Creek Mine At The North End Of Florence Street. The Road Had A Locked Gate. History: The Property Was Explored From 1982-1986. Mining Began In 1986 When The Portal Was Excavated. The Operation Ceased In 1991. In 1996 An Underground Aep Began, And Operations Ceased Again In 1999 When The Underground Workings Were Allowed To Flood. In 2001, Plans Were Made For An Open Pit Mine And Took Place Between 2003-2004. Closure Activities Had Commenced By The End Of 2005. In 2012, A Notice Of Project Status Was Received, Moving The Project From A State Of Closure To A State Of Temporary Suspension. Closure Plan Id: M33
