Operational Access Description: Access: Located Within The City Of Greater Sudbury, 3.6 Km North Of The Sudbury Airport. The Mine Is 3 Km West Of Skead. History: Discovered In 2001 Through A Surface Drilling Program. Advanced Exploration Activities Were Conducted At The Site From 2004 To 2008. The Ventilation Shaft Was Commissioned In 2007 And The Main Shaft Was Commissioned In 2008. A Notice Of Project Status Was Submitted In 2008 From Advanced Exploration To Production. The Full Mine Phase Of Development Began In Early 2009 And Is Planned To Be Completed By The End Of 2010. Mine Life Is Projected To Be About 12 Years (2020). Closure Plan Id: F06
