Access Description: Turn north off Hwy 101 onto Hwy 655. Approximately 1/2 mile north of intersection, turn right into the parking lot adjacent to Ross Ave., the drive north along the fence for about 1/2 mile and park at the Sand Claims road crossing sign. A walk of about 1000ft along the graveled trail arrives at grid line L 4+00W in the NW corner of claim 1218639 (situated in the NW 1/4, S 1/2 of Lot 9, Concession 3). Occurrence claim 1207046 is to the immediate southeast of this claim.

Jan 28, 2014 (D Draper) - No detailed geological or lithilogical description of the sample site was provided in file T-4174. However, a report on the Goldale Mines propertyin T-0038 described the outcrop in the vicinity of the occurrence as amygdaloidal pillow lavas (greenstone flow on map legend).
