Mineralization Comments

Dec 22, 2006 (Mark Puumala) - The Northeast Claims prospect is located on a property known as the Central Patricia Northeast Claims. Anomalous gold mineralization was encountered in four diamond drill holes that were advanced on these claims by Noramco Exploration in 1988 (Evoy 1988). The gold is reported by Evoy (1988) to occur within altered and deformed banded iron formation. The most significant mineralization is interpreted to occur at the nose of a drag fold that has been interpreted by Evoy (1988) to be a tight synform whose axis plunges to the northeast at 65 degrees. The most significant assay results reported by Evoy (1988) were obtained from Noramco ddh CP-88-81, which intersected 30 m of stongly silicified and mineralized iron formation. A quartz-flooded zone in the iron formation was reported by Evoy (1988) to have assayed 0.101 oz/ton Au over 4.1 m, with a high-grade intersection of 0.362 oz/ton over 1.07 m in a portion of the zone containing 50% quartz veins and 30% pyrrhotite.

Jan 18, 2022 (Therese Pettigrew) - DDH PC-10-092 returned 1.4 g/t Au over 23.5 m from 196 m.
