Mineralization Comments

Dec 28, 2006 (Mark Puumala) - The Field Zone is interpreted by Evoy (1988) to be the southwestern strike-extension of the No. 5 Iron Formation Zone that is known to host gold mineralization on the Pickle Crow property. Diamond drilling results reported by Evoy (1988) indicate that this is a relatively wide zone of low-grade gold mineralization in iron formation. Mineralization has been reported to have been encountered to a depth of at least 210 m. Diamond drill hole logs indicate that the gold mineralized iron formation at this location is strongly silicified and contains approximately 10% pyrrhotite and trace chalcopyrite. Notable diamond drilling results include an assay of 0.02 oz/ton over 28.8 m in ddh CP-88-80 and 0.021 oz/ton over 17.5 m in ddh CP-88-88.
