Feb 08, 2007 (Mark Puumala) - This occurrence is based on an anomalous gold assay of 0.023 oz/ton reported by Parker et al. (1995) from a sample of quartz vein material hosted within trondhjemite. The quartz is reported to be transluscent white to grey, with hematitic staining and minor pyrite mineralization.
