Lithology Comments

Nov 04, 2011 (A Wilson) - The generalized geology includes, from south to north, a series of ankerite altered basaltic komatiites, mafic metavolcanics consisting of grey/green massive and pillowed flows; and metasediments consisting of greywacke, argillite and graphitic argillites. Quartz-carbonate and quartz/tourmaline veins are hosted by a series of light grey, hydrothermally-altered, ankerite mafic metavolcanics along the north contact of the Vogel volcanic belt with ultramafic metavolcanics.
