Mineralization Comments

Jun 05, 2007 (Mark Puumala) - Copper and gold mineralization was reported at this location by Brereton (1988) in a 15 cm wide, southeast-striking quartz vein hosted within diorite of the Bijou Point Complex. The vein is mineralized with chalcopyrite and is described by Brereton (1988) as porphyry copper-style mineralization. Grab sample assay results of 2.4% Cu and 0.097 oz/ton Au were reported by Brereton (1988) from sample number PBR-88-05.
