Mineralization Comments

Jun 21, 2007 (Mark Puumala) - This occurrence is based on the reported occurrence of anomalous gold mineralization in Iron Lake Minerals diamond drill hole 00-14 (Bazinet 2000). The drill hole was advanced to test a geophysical anomaly referred to by Bazinet (2000) as Conductor B. Lithologies encountered in the drill hole are reported by Bazinet (2000) to have included a series of tuffs, basalt-andesite and sulphidized banded iron formation. The most significant gold value (3.116 g/t Au) was reported by Bazinet (2000) to occur in a 1.27 m long section logged as sulphidized, tuffaceous rock mineralized with arsenopyrite. This occurrence is located approximately 500 m east-southeast of the Anomaly A prospect, and may represent a strike-extension of the same gold mineralized horizon.
