Ultramafic-Unsubdivided 2 Host

Lithology Comments

Jul 10, 2007 (A Wilson) - The drill hole intersected a sequence of intermediate metavolcanics intruded by narrow granitic intrusives. The drill hole terminated in granitic intrusive. Other drill holes in the vicinity intersected a talcose unit that is probably an ultramafic flow. This unit may have been misidentified in drill core in drill hole #2.

Mineralization Comments

Jul 10, 2007 (A Wilson) - A grab sample of peridotite collected in 1957 by Queenston Gold Mines returned an assay of 0.25% Ni. A 180 ft section of drill core averaged 0.210% Ni. Drill holes 7 and 8 drilled on strike to the east, also returned elevated nickel values ranging up to 0.235% Ni over 40 feet in an ultramafic intrusive.
