Sep 08, 2014 (A Wilson) - Assay values up to $0.80 gold were recovered from grab samples the quartz vein. A sample from a muck pile near the lake returned 0.9 oz/t Ag. Visible gold was panned from sludge from one of the drill holes. Two other samples from the dump reportedly returned values of: 5.38% Cu, 3.54% lead, 1.2 oz/t silver and $0.60 gold; and 21.89% Pb, 0.98% Cu, 5.8 oz/t Ag and $0.40 Au. A sample taken by Lefort in 2009 from the mouth of the shaft on the east shore of Quartz Lake assayed 2.74% Cu.
