Exploration History

1962-1965: Canadian Nickel Company Ltd. completed airborne mag and EM surveys. 1964-1968: Area Mines Ltd. completed airborne EM, ground mag, VLF-EM, geology and diamond drilling. Best assay 1.5% Cu over 0.76 m. 1965: Noranda Exploration completed ground mag, VLF-EM, JEM and geological surveys. 1974: Abitibi Paper Company Ltd. completed airborne mag and EM surveys. 1975: McIntyre Mines Ltd. completed ground HLEM and mag surveys. 1975: Teck Corporation completed 12 basal till drill holes. 1980: Amax Minerals Limited completed mapping and airborne mag. 1983: Canamax resources completed an airborne mag survey. 1987-1988: Hedman Resources completed ground mag and HLEM surveys. 1989: Asarco Exploration Canada completed ground HLEM and mag surveys as well as soil geochemistry. 1992: Noranda Exploration Company completed HLEM, mag and soil geochemistry. 1998: Sterling Pacific Inc. completed HLEM and mag surveys. DDH - 8 holes totalling 1055 m. Best assays 1.0% Zn over 6.9 m in hole SR-98-4 and 1.0% Zn over 5.0 m in hole SR-98-8. 2005: Golden Chalice Resources completed 3 diamond drill holes totalling 664 m. Mineralization was extended to the west by about 400 with an intersection of 0.52% Zn over 8.6 m in hole GCRS05-02. A further 1500 m to the west DDH GCRS05-03 intersected 2.23% Zn over 0.5 m.

Dec 04, 2007 (D Guidon) - From drill log of GCRS05-3 123.7-134.2 - Alteration zone Dark green to dark grey, fine grain, brecciated silicified, sericitized and chloritic fragmental, hybridized rock comprised of intercalated altered basalt and sericitized and chloritic rhyolitic fragmental with overprinting of silicification, approximately 2 to 3% patchy sphalerite, chalcopyrite and galena throughout section. 127.0-127.50 m assayed 22300 ppm Zn
