Access Description: The claim group is located approximately 23 km by road northwest of the town of Matachewan. Secondary Provincial Highway 566 ends near the south-eastern edge of the claim group in north-western Bannockburn Township. Forest access roads and seasonal roads and trails from logging operations afford good access to the claim group.

Oct 08, 2014 (A Wilson) - A grab sample collected in 1975 by the OGS from an old trench returned assays of 0.39 oz/t Au and 0.71 oz/t Au. A grab sample collected by Phoenix Mattachewan Mines in 2002 returned an assay of 7.41 (check assay 10.35 g/t). Sample 54456 from the same vicinity assayed 12 g/t Au (check assay 12.41 g/t Au). Assays from Wilzel Resources DDH M87-4 returned 0.220 oz/t Au over 1 ft in silicified pillow basalt. A 1 ft section of drill core that intersected a quartz vein in DDH M87-5 returned 0.181 oz/t Au.
Oct 08, 2014 (J Suma-Momoh) - A grab sample (sample # 54456) of quartz vein collected from the site in 2002 by Phoenix Matachewan Mines Inc. returned 12 g/t gold. A similar sample (sample # 54457) from the same site returned 3.29 g/t gold.
Oct 08, 2014 (J Suma-Momoh) - Several sub-parallel narrow veins up to 10 cm or so thick exhibit well sulphidized and iron carbonate-altered volcanic wall rock as haloes for up to 10 cm on either side of each vein.
