Lithology Comments

Jan 22, 2014 (A Wilson) - Diamond drilling intersected a sequence of interbedded porphyry and dacite. The porphyry is described as being charcoal grey in colour and rubbly in appearance. Fine quartz-calcite stringers are commonly observed. The dacite is variable in appearance. It ranges from massive to tuffaceous in texture and often displays chloritic alteration. Elevated zinc and copper values are found within the porphyry. Leucoxene alteration was observed in several locations in the drill core.

Mineralization Comments

Jan 22, 2014 (D Draper) - - Data for this record is compiled from 6 individual drill holes. Hole 11 (drilled NW from south side of Gillies Lake; az. 325, dip -45): A porphyry intersected at the top of the hole contained sphalerite, galena and pyrite. Two samples of this upper unit taken between 21.5 and 24.4m returned 4040ppm Zn over 0.3m and 3481ppm Zn over 1.3m. A sample taken at 62m downhole from a chloritic dacite fragmental returned 10,257 ppm Zn over 0.3m. No sulphide mineralization was noted in this unit. Hole T-20 (az. 330, dip -45) was collared approximately 150m SE of, and trended parallel to, 11. A 0.3m sample of dacite mineralized with py, sp and cp from 368m downhole returned 13,275 ppm Zn. Several subsequent holes were drilled toward the SE from the north side of the lake, either parallelling or crossing the surface trace of holes 11 and 20. Results of northern holes as follows: DDH T-21 (az. 151, dip -50, approx. 350m NW of 11) - A sample of intermediate to mafic metavolcanic mineralized with 10% py @ 429.9m assayed 16,206 ppm Zn over 0.4m. A similar unit at 400m returned 435ppb Au over 0.3m. DDH #29 (az. 134, dip -60, drilled approx. 100m east of 21) - A 0.88m sample from a graphitic tuff with sp, po and cp @ 360.35m returned elevated Zn (listed as >0000.0 ppm on log) and 1033ppm Cu. A second unspecified elevated Zn assay with 2528ppm Pb was obtained from an andesite unit @ 361.6m (sp and po). The same unit returned 45.9 ppm Ag (1498ppm Zn) over 0.3m @ 379.6m. (DCL TI4337) T-57 (az. 131, dip -53, approx. 200m NE of 21) - 10,000 ppm Zn over 0.3m; 36 ppm Ag over 0.85m; 21,000 ppm Zn, 36 ppm Ag and 1045 ppm Cu over 0.4m; 55 ppm Ag over 0.2m from a unit of andesite flow with py and abundant sp @ 352.5m. (DCL TI4513) T-58 (az.145, dip -65, 75m E of 21) - A unit of graphitic sediments with py, po, cp and sp @ 403m averaged 7640 ppm Zn over 1.56m. (DCL TI4515)
