Geology Comments

May 12, 2010 (J Suma-Momoh) - The trench (# 8) uncovered 3 - 5 metre east-west strike fault zone. The rock in the shear zone is sheared andesite porphyry and still shows primary textures and feldspar phenocrysts. REF: KL 4047, Appendix D, page 13. The east-west shear zone is in line with a creek to the east. REF: KL 4047, Appendix D, page 23. The shear zone can be followed for more than 4 km.

Mineralization Comments

May 12, 2010 (J Suma-Momoh) - Trench 8 is characterized by a 3 - 5 m fault zone which was sampled with 6 grab and 16 channel samples. The highest values encountered are: (1) where the alteration (albite, carbonate, silica) is strongest; (2) where the weathered surface shows the most schistose texture; and (3) where the pyrite content is greater than 1-2 % (white pyrite). Up to 95 % of the samples returned gold values greater than 100 ppb with values reaching 2880 ppb Au over 1.2 metres in channel (sample 2064) and 6240 ppb Au in grab (sample 729) samples. REF: KL 4047, Appendix D, page 20-21.

Alteration Comments

May 12, 2010 (J Suma-Momoh) - The andesite porphyry in the shear zone is yellowish-green, highly carbonatized and albitized; moderately sericitized; weakly silicified, and trace of fuchsite is present.
