Lithology Comments

Jan 23, 2014 (A Wilson) - The mafic pyroclastic is described as being tuffaceous and displaying a well-bedded texture. The tuff is very fine grained and displays intense interstitial carbonatization. The underlying magnesium basalt is massive and contains fine-grained pyrite. Traces of disseminated chalcopyrite also were observed. The unit is not well foliated and is relatively unaltered. Graphitic alteration zones were observed within this unit.

Mineralization Comments

Jan 23, 2014 (D Draper) - Hole 546-005 (az. 360, dip -45) intersected a 30m unit of carbonatized mafic pyroclastic cut by quartz-calcite veining and graphite stringers. Best assays: 0.66 g/t Au over 0.14m; 0.795 g/t over 0.15m; 10 g/t Au over 0.22min a quartz vein. The vein was hosted within a sequence of mafic pyroclastic rocks. A lower unit of magnesium basalt returned 0.81 g/t Au over 0.92m.
