Mineralization Comments

Mar 12, 2008 (Mark Puumala) - This occurrence is based on anomalous gold assays reported from Dome Exploration diamond drill hole numbers 188-4, 188-5 and 188-19 (AFRI# 53B06NW0004 and 53B06NW0005). These drill holes were advanced to test a magnetic anomaly shown on Dome Exploration magnetometer survey map number 83-198 (Racic 1983). This magnetic anomaly indicates the presence of a fold closure in iron formation at this location, where bedrock is overlain by a thick layer of overburden. The magnetic data shown on the Dome Exploration maps (Racic 1983) indicate that the axial plane of the fold strikes approximately 300. Each of the three drill holes in which anomalous gold values were reported were drilled parallel to the fold axial plane. The anomalous gold assays were obtained from different lithological units in each drill hole. The most significant gold values, including an assay of 1.53g/t over 0.65 m were obtained in drill hole 188-4 (AFRI# 53B06NW0005) from a 1.84 m section (206.38-208.22 m) described as iron formation containing 40% cherty fragments, 20% quartz, 5% arsenopyrite occurring as needles and blebby seams, 5% pyrite, minor magnetite, and trace sphalerite. Two other assays of 0.68 g/t Au were reported for 0.81 and 0.86 m wide intersections of an iron formation horizon that was intersected between 101.8 and 106.98 m. An assay of 0.68 g/t Au was also reported from a 0.43 m wide section of porphyry containing 20% quartz in veins and fracture fillings, 1% arsenopyrite and minor, pyrite, galena and sphalerite. Drill holes 188-5 (AFRI# 53B06NW0005) and 188-19 (AFRI# 53B06NW0004) were reported to have intersected anomalous gold mineralization. A gold assay of 0.68 g/t over 0.5 m (188.1 to 188.6 m) was reported in drill hole 188-5 from strongly-foliated porphyry containing disseminated arsenopyrite and pyrite. An assay of 0.68 g/t Au over 1.0 m (216.2 to 217.2 m) was reported in drill hole 188-19 from interbedded argillite and greywacke mineralized with 2% pyrrhotite and 1% pyrite.
