Mineralization Comments

May 12, 2008 (D Draper) - Drillhole L98-2 assayed 2566 ppm copper over 1.6m at 210.6m downhole in a massive mafic volcanic unit mineralized with disseminated chalcopyrite. At 282.5m downhole, a breccia zone mineralized with euhedral pyrite cubes and disseminated cpy returned 414 ppb gold over 1.5m. The collar location of this hole may possibly be in the vicinity of a surface showing of 2 quartz veins that were stripped and sampled in the late 1930s (designated No. 2 and No. 3 veins). Reported results are contradictory, ranging from initial assays by Ridgegold of up to 0.68 opt Au to a later Sylvanite grab sample of the No. 2 vein, which was described as unmineralized, returning only 0.02 opt Au. (T-763)
