Jul 25, 2008 (A Wilson) - The occurrence lies within the mafic metavolcanic rocks of the Kamiskotia Volcanic Complex. The Kamiskotia Volcanic Complex overlies and is intruded by the Kamiskotia Gabbroic Complex. The KVC has been dated at 2701± 1.4 to 2698± 1.3 Ma.

Jan 25, 2010 (A Wilson) - The surface showing consists of a quartz-sphalerite vein within gabbro. The vein has been traced continuously for 400 feet in one outcrop. A second vein lying 450 feet to the southeast lies within a shear zone. Diamond drilling intersected a sequence of gabbro. The gabbro is intruded by an extensive network of quartz±calcite±albite veins.

Feb 05, 2016 (D Draper) - Early Jamieson Vein No. 1 results included assays up to 9.2% Zn. Finley (AR Vol 34-6) reported a galena-rich sample returning 14.4% Pb and 32.7opt Ag. A grab sample of Daxl-Gryba Zinc Vein 2, mineralized with 20% sp, 2% cpy and 2% py, returned 8.44% Zn. An assay of 639 ppb Au was obtained in another sample from this site. (T-5092)
Feb 05, 2016 (A Wilson) - Grab samples collected by the OGS in the 1940's returned values up to 0.2 oz/t gold. Grab samples collected from an old pit in 2004 returned values up to 8.44% Zn. Elevated zinc values were returned from drill holes CP 06-03 to CP06-6 which were drilled approximately 200 m south of CP-06-1. Significant assays include 1.85g/t Au, 12.23% Zn, 0.28% Cu, 2.74% Pb and 26.6 g/t Ag over 20 cm in CP-06-3 and 0.13 g/t Au, 11.48% Zn, 0.31% Pb and 10.8 g/t Ag over 25 cm in CP 06-5.
Apr 26, 2019 (P Bousquet) - Several intercepts in diamond drill holes (CP-06-3 to CP-06-6, T-5615) and surface chip sampling on surface (1m chip at 7.3% Zn, T-5092), makes this deposit a prospect.
